Health Canada warns that unauthorized soft-sided hyperbaric chambers may pose serious health and safety risks.

Health Canada is advising consumers not to use unauthorized soft-sided hyperbaric chambers, saying they may pose serious health and safety risks, including fire, lung and ear injuries, infection, and even death. These chambers are not approved for sale in Canada, and the warning does not apply to medically authorized hard-shell hyperbaric chambers.
